Winston Wilmont, a values-first, strategy-forward public affairs and communications consultancy, is seeking an ambitious, detail-oriented and digitally savvy Communications & Content Coordinator to join our growing team. About the Role
As a Communications & Content Coordinator, you’ll help coordinate and deliver communications work across a range of client projects. You’ll work closely with the project lead and broader WW team to keep assigned deliverables organized, on schedule and moving forward.
Your work will span content, social media, email, media monitoring, events, webinars, research and other communications activities. You’ll help turn plans into deliverables, coordinate inputs from different team members and make sure the details are taken care of.
About the work
- Coordinate assigned communications deliverables and track deadlines, approvals and next steps
- Draft and edit social media posts, emails, newsletters, website copy, briefing materials and other client communications
- Build and maintain content calendars and coordinate content across social media, email and web
- Coordinate communications for reports, webinars, events, media appearances and other client initiatives
- Prepare materials and information needed for meetings, presentations, webinars and events
- Coordinate inputs, feedback and approvals from clients and WW team members
- Monitor and summarize media coverage and relevant industry conversations
- Research industry news, trends, government announcements and issues relevant to clients
- Coordinate with WW’s creative resources and external partners on design, video, digital and other specialized projects
- Prepare analytics and performance information for client reporting
- Maintain project files, timelines, task lists and other documentation to keep assigned work organized
- Identify upcoming deadlines, missing information or potential issues and flag them to the project lead
- Participate in brainstorming, planning and strategy sessions and contribute ideas to client work
- Use digital and AI tools to support research, content development, project coordination and client work
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in communications, marketing, journalism, public relations or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in communications, marketing, public affairs, media, content or agency/client service
- Demonstrated interest in communications, public affairs, marketing and the sectors in which our clients operate
- Experience supporting multiple projects, clients or stakeholders is an asset
- French-English bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. Bilingualism is an asset, but is not required for the role.
